Tanishq Launches Jasmine-Inspired 'Malle' Uncut Diamond Collection in Hyderabad

Jewellery brand Tanishq has launched 'Malle', its first uncut diamond range created specifically for southern India, at an event in Hyderabad. Unveiled by actress Rukmini Vasanth, the new collection draws inspiration from the cultural significance of Malli, or jasmine, in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

According to a statement from the company, the collection reinterprets jasmine buds, flowers, and garlands into traditional south Indian jewellery forms. The line features Bottu Malas, Guttapusalu haars, jhumkis, necklaces, chokers, bangles, bracelets, rings, and pendants. The pieces are crafted in 18K gold combined with uncut diamonds and gemstones including emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and pearls.

Pelki Tshering, chief marketing officer at Tanishq, said the idea behind the range was to turn an element traditionally worn alongside jewellery into jewellery itself. Actress Rukmini Vasanth noted that the collection gives the familiar symbol of jasmine a contemporary interpretation while retaining its cultural associations.

Ahead of Varamahalakshmi, Tanishq announced promotional discounts of up to Rs 601 off per gram on gold jewellery from August 19 to 22. Additional offers covering making charges and diamond value will remain valid through August 31 in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
