T-Hub and OKI Electric Partner to Help Indian Deep-Tech Startups Enter Japan

Hyderabad's startup incubator T-Hub has partnered with Japan-based OKI Electric Industry Co Ltd to launch a new programme aimed at helping Indian deep-tech startups access Japanese industrial markets, validate their technologies, and pursue commercial opportunities.
According to the Telangana government-led incubator, the initiative drew over 150 applications from startups across India. Following a multi-stage evaluation process, eight startups were shortlisted to collaborate with OKI through T-Hub’s PACE programme, a corporate accelerator designed to connect businesses with startups to tackle specific industrial challenges.
The initiative will focus on key priority sectors identified by both organisations, specifically water infrastructure, logistics, and supply chain management.
The selected startups will work directly with OKI’s technical and business teams to evaluate product-market fit for Japanese industrial use cases. The cohort will also receive mentorship and explore potential co-development projects and pilots.
T-Hub stated that the partnership supports broader India-Japan cooperation in deep technology and industrial innovation, leading up to the India–Japan Year of Shared Horizons in 2027, which marks 75 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
