Syed Azmatullah Hussaini Slams Bandi Sanjay Over Rahul Gandhi Remarks

Telangana Waqf Board Chairman Syed Azmatullah Hussaini criticized Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's remarks concerning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a statement in Hyderabad. Hussaini asserted that Rahul Gandhi is a leader of the people and declared that his political future would be decided entirely by the electorate rather than by political opponents.
Addressing the prevailing political situation, Hussaini stated that Union Minister Bandi Sanjay's comments were partly right and partly wrong. However, he maintained that Rahul Gandhi did not achieve his position as a leader due to anyone's patronage, emphasizing that his standing rests directly with the public.
Highlighting the legacy of the Congress party, the Telangana Waqf Board Chairman noted that the party had expanded democratic participation by lowering the voting age to 18 years and enabling greater youth representation in local bodies. Hussaini stated that the Congress party would continue to support measures aimed at increasing youth participation in legislative bodies.
Hussaini also referenced recent protests over the NEET issue, claiming that the demonstrations reflect growing public anger against the BJP-led government. He reiterated that people in a democracy will ultimately decide the political fortunes of political parties.
Urging the Bharatiya Janata Party to focus on governance and addressing public concerns rather than making political remarks about the Opposition, Hussaini added that the electorate would judge the performance of the government at the appropriate time.
