Sujatha High School Wins Senior Boys Kabaddi Title at YMCA Hyderabad

Sujatha High School senior boys secured the kabaddi title after defeating Nagarjuna High School 8-3 in the final of the Kargil Victory Sports Festival at YMCA Hyderabad on Sunday.

The sports festival featured competitive final matches across multiple disciplines, including kabaddi, basketball, volleyball, and kho kho, with several school teams taking home titles.

In the other kabaddi final matches, Nagarjuna School defeated St. John’s School, Nagole, 18-12 to claim the senior girls title. In the junior girls division, St. John’s High School, Ramanthapur, earned a 22-15 victory against St. John’s High School, Nagole. Candor Shrine High School won the junior boys title by defeating Vivek Vardhini High School 12-9.

The basketball finals saw Little Flower High School claim titles in both girls divisions. Little Flower High School beat EWRS Balanagar 19-8 in the senior girls final and defeated HPS 17-4 in the junior girls final. In the senior boys basketball final, EMRS Gandhari defeated St. Joseph’s Public School 26-22, while St. Joseph’s Public School won the junior boys title by defeating HPS 12-6.

In volleyball, Johnson Grammar School won both senior categories. They defeated HPS 16-9 in the senior girls final and beat Candore Shrine High School 24-16 in the senior boys final. Holy Mary High School defeated North Field School 30-16 to win the junior girls volleyball title, and Candore Shrine School claimed the junior boys title with a 9-3 win over Zee High School.

The kho kho competitions concluded with Rajasri Vidya Mandir beating Rosary Convent, Abids, 6-2 in the senior girls final. St. John’s High School, Ramanthapur, defeated Nagarjuna High School 3-0 in the junior girls category. Vyas Model School secured the senior boys kho kho title with a 12-7 win over Keshav Memorial High School, while Sai Model School defeated St. John’s High School, Ramanthapur, 12-6 in the junior boys division.
