State Government Releases ₹7,135.77 Crore Rythu Bharosa Funds for Vanakalam 2026

The State government in Hyderabad has released ₹7,135.77 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for the Vanakalam 2026 season. The fund release, which was completed on July 4, 2026, provided timely financial assistance to 67.44 lakh farmers across 118.93 lakh acres of land.

The massive financial disbursement was carried out in a phased manner over a period of five days. According to officials, this phased release was designed to ensure that farmers received timely financial support to help them meet their essential input costs during the ongoing Vanakalam agricultural season.

The disbursement process began on June 30, 2026, and concluded on July 4, 2026. The phased rollout structured the financial assistance based on the size of the farmers' landholdings, starting with smaller holdings and progressively covering larger farms up to six acres.

On the first day of the release, June 30, the first tranche of funds was disbursed to farmers who hold up to two acres of land. This initial phase also covered farmers with landholdings of up to one acre.

Following the initial launch, the second phase of disbursements took place on July 1, 2026. During this phase, the government released the Rythu Bharosa assistance to farmers holding up to three acres of land.

The third phase of the distribution was executed on July 2, 2026. This tranche of the financial assistance was successfully transferred to eligible farmers with landholdings up to four acres.

On July 3, 2026, the fourth phase of the disbursement covered farmers owning up to five acres of land.

The five-day disbursement drive officially concluded on July 4, 2026. On this final day, the state government released the remaining portion of the funds to farmers holding up to six acres of land.

Officials stated that the phased release pattern successfully ensured the delivery of financial aid to all 67.44 lakh beneficiary farmers, helping them manage their seasonal agricultural expenses across 118.93 lakh acres of cultivable land.
