Sridhar Babu Denies CM Brother Link to Tesseract Raviryala Land Deal

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu has denied allegations by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's brother, A Kondal Reddy, is linked to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited, which was allotted industrial land in Raviryala, Rangareddy. Sridhar Babu defended the transaction, stating that the land allotment was executed transparently and strictly according to established rules.

The political dispute erupted after BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank alleged that the government handed over 20,234 square metres of Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) land to Tesseract Advanced Systems at a throwaway price of about Rs 7.5 crore. According to the BRS spokesperson, the actual market value of the property in Raviryala exceeds Rs 135 crore.

Refuting the charges, Sridhar Babu stated that Tesseract Advanced Systems has no connection whatsoever with the Chief Minister's brother. He said the land allotment process was not conducted behind closed doors and had been approved by the Consultative Committee on Electronics System Design & Manufacturing. Sridhar Babu condemned the allegations as false propaganda based on fake documents, created solely to target the Chief Minister's family and tarnish the government's image.

However, the minister's claims appear to contrast with public references and social media activity. BRS spokesperson Krishank pointed out on social media platform X that Kondal Reddy's LinkedIn profile bio mentions Tesseract. Krishank also highlighted references by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and US-AndHyderabad describing Kondal Reddy as the Chairman of Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited.

In a social media post, Kondal Reddy publicly acknowledged his association with the company while thanking the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum for appointing him to its India Executive Leadership Board. In the post, Kondal Reddy stated that team members at Tesseract see India's engineering talent pushing frontiers in aerospace and defence.

Addressing the ongoing controversy, Sridhar Babu accused opposition parties of conspiring to obstruct industrial development and block investments from coming into Telangana. He reiterated that the state government is maintaining 100 per cent transparency across all industrial land allotments.
