SOT Police Raid Amnan's Gulf Bakers in Boduppal Over Expired Food Products

The Uppal Zone Special Operations Team (SOT) police conducted a raid on Amnan's Gulf Bakers in Mallikarjun Nagar on Boduppal Road on Monday. The bakery falls under the jurisdiction of the Medipally police station within the Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

During the inspection, police officers discovered that the bakery was allegedly utilizing unauthorized ingredients in its food preparation. According to reports, the establishment was allegedly using ammonia powder, artificial food colours, and expired food products to prepare various baked items.

Following a preliminary investigation, law enforcement authorities identified the owner of the bakery as Abdul Muthalib Sayyed, a native of Jharkhand. Investigators also revealed that Sayyed had hired an individual named Mustafa, a native of Nirmal, to manage the daily operations of the bakery on a fixed monthly salary.

During the operation, SOT police officers confiscated various food materials and cakes from the premises. The seized food items, along with bakery owner Abdul Muthalib Sayyed, were subsequently handed over to the Medipally police for further legal action.

The Medipally police have officially registered a case regarding the incident and have launched an investigation into the matter.
