SMP International School Students Mark National Sports Day at Lal Bahadur Stadium

Students of SMP International School gathered at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad to observe National Sports Day and pay tribute to legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand on his birth anniversary.

The commemorative programme was organised in association with the Sports Authority of Telangana. Senior sports officials and dignitaries attended the event alongside the students to offer floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand, recalling his significant contributions to Indian hockey and his achievements at the international level.

Students, school management members, teachers, and physical education staff participated in the proceedings, highlighting the role of athletics alongside scholastic pursuits. The participants expressed their commitment to pursuing excellence in both sports and academics.
