Six Suspects Detained in Nalgonda After Family of Four Found Murdered

The Nalgonda police have detained six suspects in connection with the murder of a businessman and three of his family members at their residence in Telangana Colony, Nalgonda town. The victims, whose decomposed bodies were discovered on Monday night, are suspected to have been murdered on the intervening night of June 19 and 20 over a suspected property dispute.
The deceased have been identified as Md Sultan, 45, his wife Haseena, 40, their son Muzammil, 20, and their daughter Afsara, 11. Sultan ran a bag shop in Nalgonda, while Haseena worked as a teacher at a private school. Afsara was a class VII student at the same school, and Muzammil worked as an air conditioner technician.
The tragedy came to light when neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the locked house and alerted the local police. Upon receiving the information, police officers arrived at the scene, broke open the main door of the house, and discovered the decomposed bodies of the four family members lying on the floor.
The bodies were subsequently shifted for a post-mortem examination. Forensic experts conducting the autopsy revealed that all four victims had sustained multiple stab injuries.
An official involved in the investigation confirmed the timeline of the crime, stating that they believe the family was murdered on the intervening night of June 19 and 20. The official added that the victims had multiple injuries caused by a sharp weapon.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the police have analyzed call detail records and examined CCTV footage from locations near the house in Telangana Colony. The six detained suspects are currently being interrogated by the police to determine the exact motive and solve the case.
