Six Devotees from Proddatur Go Missing in Nallamala Forest Near Ahobilam

Six devotees have gone missing in the dense Nallamala forest near Ahobilam in Nandyal district after losing their way while returning from a temple visit.

A group of ten devotees had travelled to the region to offer prayers at the Pavana Narasimha Swamy temple. After completing their darshan of Lord Sri Narasimha Swamy, the group began their return journey through the forested terrain. During the trek back, six members of the group lost their way and became separated from the others.

According to police officials, the missing individuals include five women and one man. All six missing devotees have been identified as residents of Proddatur.

Following the incident, local police and forest department personnel launched a coordinated search operation in the Nallamala forest area. Teams are actively combing through the forest tracks and surrounding terrain in an effort to trace the missing pilgrims and bring them to safety.
