Siliconops.ai Launches Sovereign Cloud Platform Siliconcloud.in in Hyderabad

Hyderabad-based Siliconops.ai announced the launch of siliconcloud.in, a sovereign cloud platform tailored specifically for regulated Indian enterprises. Developed in partnership with enterprise cloud software provider Nutanix, the infrastructure is delivered and governed entirely from data centres located within India.

The newly launched platform aims to serve organisations operating across critical sectors, including banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, government, and manufacturing. These industries operate under stringent data residency mandates, business continuity rules, and complex regulatory compliance frameworks.

Siliconcloud.in provides a comprehensive suite of enterprise-grade compute resources, backup capabilities, disaster recovery systems, and managed cloud services. According to the company, the architecture includes a clear roadmap towards relevant compliance standards and industry certifications to facilitate secure IT modernisation.

By ensuring that infrastructure operations remain within Indian borders, the platform allows local enterprises to upgrade and modernise their digital infrastructure while maintaining sensitive data strictly under domestic jurisdiction.

Commenting on the rollout, Shyam Gaidhane, Chief Executive Officer of Siliconops, emphasised the critical importance of digital sovereignty for modern businesses. Gaidhane noted that data has emerged as an enterprise's most valuable asset in the age of artificial intelligence, stating that launching India’s sovereign cloud around the country's 80th Independence Day served as a symbolic reminder that data sovereignty matters to businesses just as national sovereignty matters to countries.
