Sia Nagasri Jayakumar to Perform Charity Carnatic Concert in Kukatpally

Fifteen-year-old Carnatic vocalist Sia Nagasri Jayakumar, a high school student from San Jose, California, USA, is scheduled to present a special benefit concert titled 'Sangeetha Seva Saadhana' on July 11, 2026, at 4:30 PM at the JNTU Auditorium in Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

The concert will raise crucial funds to support the Saadhana Welfare Society, an organisation dedicated to the care and empowerment of intellectually challenged individuals. All proceeds generated from this performance will go directly toward supporting the welfare programmes run by the society.

The musical event is being organised by Carnatica Global in association with the Global Arts Temple USA. It is part of Harmony Resonance, which is a unique initiative launched by the young artiste to support various social causes through the medium of classical music.

Sia is a disciple of the renowned Carnatic maestro Vidwan K N Shashikiran. As a young performer, she represents a new generation of globally connected young Indians who are actively working to preserve classical musical traditions while simultaneously using their art as a vehicle for positive social impact.

For her performance at the JNTU Auditorium, the young vocalist will be accompanied by an accomplished ensemble of classical musicians. The supporting lineup features Vid Srihari Vittal on the violin, Vid Peravali Jaya Bhaskar on the mridangam, and Vid B Janardhan on the ghatam.

The organisers have announced that the event is open to all music lovers, philanthropists, and cultural enthusiasts who wish to experience the classical performance and support the charitable cause. The concert offers a unique opportunity for the local community in Kukatpally to witness a classical performance while contributing to the empowerment of intellectually challenged individuals.
