Shahbad Stalker Kills Three Leaving Differently Abled Teen Orphaned

A triple murder by an accused stalker in Shahbad, Ranga Reddy district on Friday night has left a 19-year-old differently-abled girl orphaned and sparked allegations of police negligence. The accused, P Raj Kumar, brutally killed a minor girl, her mother, and her grandmother, who were the primary caregivers for the surviving teenager.

The 19-year-old survivor, who cannot walk properly, was left helpless in the home following the attack. Her family members and relatives wept inconsolably at the residence, expressing deep worry over her future and how she would survive without her mother, sister, and grandmother.

The victim's uncle, Ch Naresh, blamed the Shahbad police for failing to prevent the tragedy. Naresh stated that the family had repeatedly requested the local police to initiate stern action against the accused, P Raj Kumar, but their pleas were ignored.

According to Naresh, Shahbad Sub-Inspector Ramesh took the family's concerns casually. Naresh stated that they had clearly informed the Sub-Inspector that Raj Kumar had threatened to kill the minor girl and her family members. Despite these warnings and the registration of a case, the Shahbad police did not question or detain Raj Kumar's family members.

Naresh also raised suspicions regarding the death of the minor girl's father, which occurred a few months ago. He alleged that Raj Kumar and his friends had dropped the father off at the house in an inebriated condition, and he died just a few minutes later.

Describing the scene of Friday's attack, Naresh noted that the crime was committed with extreme brutality, leaving blood stains across the entire room.

In the aftermath of the killings, the local administration announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the family. However, the relatives rejected the financial compensation. Instead, they have made a formal request to Ranga Reddy District Collector C Narayan Reddy to take necessary steps to ensure proper care and long-term support for the orphaned 19-year-old girl.
