Seven Telangana Police Officers Promoted to IPS on Probation

The Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted seven police officers from Telangana to the Indian Police Service on probation in Hyderabad.

The promoted officers are Ravinder Puligilla, B Sree Bala Devi, V Arvinda Babu, B Raja Mahendra Naik, B Sai Sri, I Pooja, and P Karunakar.

According to an official communication issued by Uday Prakash Gupta, Under Secretary to the Government of India, the officers will remain on probation for a period of one year in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Police Service (Probation) Rules, 1954.

During their probationary period, the seven officers will undergo induction training as mandated under sub-rule 5(4) of the Indian Police Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, as amended on May 10, 2011.
