Secunderabad Police Hold Meeting To Plan Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu Festival Arrangements

The Secunderabad police on Thursday convened a convergence meeting with officials from various government departments and festival organisers to review the logistical, traffic, and security arrangements for the upcoming Shree Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu Festival in Secunderabad.
The preparatory meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Secunderabad Zone) Rakshitha Krishna Murthy. The primary objective of the meeting was to establish close coordination among all active departments and agencies to ensure the festival is celebrated in a safe, peaceful, and smooth manner.
During the meeting, officials thoroughly reviewed traffic management plans, security arrangements, crowd control measures, and other essential logistical preparations required for the grand event. DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy stressed the critical need for seamless cooperation among all departments. She instructed the respective government agencies to complete all necessary arrangements well in advance of the festival.
The meeting was attended by a wide range of stakeholders, including the heads of various government departments and members of the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple Committee. Organisers of the Palaram Bandi, Thotela, and welcome stages also participated in the discussions alongside other festival committee members to coordinate their efforts with the local administration.
Several senior police officials were present to oversee the planning process. Along with DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, the meeting was attended by Additional DCP J. Narsaiah, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ch. Sridhar, and Mahankali Inspector S. Ravi Kumar.
