Secunderabad Additional DCP J Narsaiah Recommended for President's Medal

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Secunderabad Zone, J. Narsaiah, has been recommended for the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service on the occasion of Independence Day 2026.

A member of the 1991 batch of Sub-Inspectors, Narsaiah has completed more than 35 years of service in the police department. He currently serves under the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate.

Throughout his career spanning more than three decades, the officer played key roles in anti-Naxal operations as well as investigations into several sensational murder cases. He was also instrumental in detecting a major counterfeit currency racket involving fake notes allegedly printed in Pakistan.

In addition to these achievements, Narsaiah contributed significantly to solving major cases across the older parts of Hyderabad and assisted in the arrest of key suspects connected to the Odeon Theatre bomb blast case.
