SCR to Run Special Trains Between Charlapalli and Kottayam for Onam

South Central Railway has announced special train services between Charlapalli in Hyderabad and Kottayam in Kerala to handle the extra rush of passengers during the Onam festival.

Train No. 07197 Charlapalli – Kottayam will run on August 16, 23, and 30. The train is scheduled to depart from Charlapalli at 7:15 am and reach Kottayam at 12:25 pm on the following day.

For the return journey, Train No. 07198 Kottayam – Charlapalli will operate on August 17, 24, and 31. The service will leave Kottayam at 4:45 pm and arrive at Charlapalli at 12:30 am the next day.

To accommodate different categories of passengers, the special train will feature various coach classes, including 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class.

The special service will stop at key stations in both directions, including Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, and Renigunta.

Additional halts along the route include Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, and Ernakulam Town.
