SBI Hyderabad Circle Donates Vehicles To Secunderabad Institute On 71st Bank Day

On 1 July 2026, the State Bank of India (SBI) Hyderabad Circle celebrated its 71st Bank Day by launching major community outreach initiatives, including donating utility vehicles to local welfare and educational institutions, including one in Secunderabad. The event, hosted by the SBI Hyderabad Circle, brought together the Circle Management Committee, guests, and staff to mark the bank's seven-decade legacy of trust, financial inclusion, and nation-building.

As part of the celebrations, the SBI Hyderabad Circle donated three utility vehicles to local educational and welfare institutions to enhance community mobility and safety. Among the beneficiaries was the Sadhana Institute for Special Children, based in Secunderabad, which received a specialised minivan. The Durgabai Deshmukh College of Nursing was also a recipient, receiving a 52-seater bus to support its students and staff.

The event saw active participation from the top leadership of the SBI Hyderabad Circle. Neelesh Dwivedi, the Chief General Manager (CGM) of the Hyderabad Circle, attended the event alongside General Managers Satish Kumar (Network II), Ranvijay Pratap (Network I), and R Ganesh (CCGRO).

In tandem with the Bank Day celebrations, the circle recognized the societal contributions of healthcare professionals on National Doctor’s Day. A total of 11 Bank Medical Officers, specialists, and healthcare advisors were felicitated during the event for their dedicated service.

The bank also marked Chartered Accountants Day by honoring key professionals from the financial sector. CGM Neelesh Dwivedi presented honors to auditors CSR Murthy and D Vijay Kumar, acknowledging their significant contributions to the banking sector.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Surajit Tripathy, who serves as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Chief Development Officer (CDO) of the SBI Hyderabad Circle.
