Sanjay Jaju and Ministers Review El Niño Preparedness at Rajendranagar Workshop

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju stressed the necessity of coordinated, sector-specific preparedness and proactive measures to address the potential impact of El Niño during a workshop held in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on Friday.

The workshop was organised by the Agriculture Department to formulate advance preparedness plans and ensure synchronized action across key allied sectors.

Several state ministers attended the session, including Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Panchayat Raj Minister D. Seethakka, and Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari.

Senior administrative officials and agriculture scientists from the Agriculture, Panchayat Raj, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries Departments also participated in the deliberations to address challenges arising from El Niño.
