Rythu Bharosa Event Causes Severe Traffic Congestion in Hitec City and Madhapur

On Tuesday evening, vehicular traffic came under severe strain on the routes between Madhapur and Hitec City as Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy attended the Rythu Bharosa programme at Shilpakala Vedika. The event, which was scheduled to take place from 3 pm to 9 pm, drew a large number of participants and political leaders. This led to heavy traffic congestion on several major and arterial roads surrounding the venue.
The traffic snarls hit both Madhapur and Hitec City as a result of the gathering, causing widespread disruption for local commuters and motorists. Key stretches in the surrounding area experienced slow-moving traffic. The affected locations included the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge, IKEA Junction, Trident Hotel Junction, Shilpakala Vedika Junction, Shilparamam Junction, and Metal Charminar Junction, where vehicles crawled at a very slow pace. Long queues of vehicles were witnessed during the evening peak hours as motorists experienced significant delays on their commutes.
To handle the severe traffic strain, the Cyberabad Traffic Police deployed additional personnel to regulate traffic and manage vehicle movement around the venue. Officers were stationed to manage the flow of vehicles and ease the overall congestion on the affected stretches, working to keep the traffic moving.
Temporary traffic diversions and brief restrictions were also enforced at intervals by the Cyberabad Traffic Police. These measures were necessary to facilitate the movement of VIP convoys and to ensure the smooth conduct of the Rythu Bharosa event, which was attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other political leaders.
In response to the severe congestion, commuters were advised to avoid the affected stretches wherever possible and take alternate routes. Meanwhile, motorists travelling towards Hitec City, Gachibowli, Kondapur, and Jubilee Hills were asked to check traffic updates and plan their travel accordingly to avoid getting stuck in the delays.
