RTC Mechanic Dies After Bus Moves During Repair Work in Jeedimetla

A 39-year-old RTC mechanic died on the spot on Tuesday morning after a bus moved forward while he was carrying out repair work at the Jeedimetla RTC bus depot in Medchal district.

The deceased mechanic was identified as Santhosh, also referred to as Santhosh Kumar. According to reports, Santhosh was in the process of repairing the bus after it had developed a brake issue.

While he was working on the vehicle, the driver allegedly failed to notice him and drove the bus forward. Santhosh was trapped underneath the vehicle and died at the scene.

Following the fatal incident, the Jeedimetla police registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
