Rithvik Velupuri, Priisha Win Under-18 Mount Banyan Chess Titles in Hyderabad

Rithvik Velupuri and Priisha Chakravarborty won the boys and girls under-18 titles respectively at the ninth Mount Banyan Global School tournament held in Hyderabad on Sunday.

The event was organised by the Telangana Chess Academy and featured competitions across multiple age groups and categories.

In the under-8 boys division, Sulaniya Utkarsh secured the first-place finish. Sarvesh Ganesh Swami claimed second place, while S. Likith finished third. G. Vihari Reddy and Karthik Sahasraaksh secured the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

In the under-8 girls category, Shaik Y Suheera Mehreen emerged as the champion. Muddala Kumudha finished in second place, and T. Lakshya rounded out the top three.
