Revanth Reddy to Open Rs 620-Crore Nalgonda X Roads Flyover in Hyderabad

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is scheduled to inaugurate the Rs 620 crore Nalgonda X Roads Steel Flyover on Thursday, opening a major signal-free corridor connecting Nalgonda X Roads to Owaisi Hospital Junction. The elevated structure passes through key Hyderabad localities including Chanchalguda, Saidabad, and IS Sadan.

The 3.32-kilometre, four-lane flyover comprises 88 spans designed to relieve heavy traffic bottlenecks that routinely slow down the stretch. Its engineering features a 2.63-kilometre main viaduct and includes a 200-metre up-ramp originating from IS Sadan Junction.

Officials stated that the new flyover will drastically shorten commuting times for motorists. The journey along the corridor, which previously took around 35 minutes, is anticipated to take between 5 and 8 minutes on the elevated road.

Hyderabad in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the infrastructure project would ensure faster, smoother, and conflict-free travel for daily commuters while saving them up to 30 minutes on their journeys.

Prabhakar added that the signal-free elevated corridor will also help reduce vehicle idling, lower fuel consumption, and cut vehicular pollution along the busy arterial route.
