Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate Rs 52-Crore Musi Bridge Connecting Amberpet and Moosarambagh

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday, August 31, 2026, was scheduled to inaugurate a new 400-metre-long, 14.5-metre-wide bridge constructed over the Musi river, connecting Amberpet and Moosarambagh.

Built at an estimated cost of Rs 52 crore, the infrastructure project is designed to ease traffic congestion across several parts of the city. According to a release from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the bridge includes 3.5-metre-wide footpaths on both sides to facilitate safe pedestrian movement.

Once operational, the new link will provide travel relief to daily commuters moving through Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan, Owaisi Hospital, Kanchan Bagh, Champapet, and Sagar Road.

Ahead of the inauguration, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the project site. On Sunday, he instructed officials to finish the A4 up-ramp within a day and expedite the completion of the A3 side ramp towards Champapet within two to three days to ensure smooth connectivity.

During the public programme in Amberpet, the Chief Minister, who also holds the Municipal Administration and Urban Development portfolio, was also scheduled to unveil the official logos of the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, and the GHMC.
