Revanth Reddy Seeks Public Support in Secunderabad to Make Telangana a Global Gateway
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday sought the unwavering support, cooperation, and blessings of the public at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad to establish Telangana as a gateway to the entire world. Speaking on the occasion of the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations, Reddy detailed the state government's strategic roadmap to elevate the state's economic and global standing.
During his address to the gathered public, the Chief Minister emphasized that the administration aims to position Telangana not merely as a gateway for the nation, but as a hub for the entire world. He expressed firm confidence that with the collective support of the citizens, the state would successfully attain its highly ambitious financial goals in the coming decades.
Specifically, Reddy stated that it is the firm resolve of the Congress government that Telangana should emerge as a one-trillion US dollar economy by the year 2034. Looking further ahead, the state administration aims to scale this figure to a three-trillion US dollar economy by the year 2047.
To achieve these targets, the government is relying on the "Telangana Rising 2047" vision document. Reddy noted that a single master plan encompassing an entire state is highly unusual and likely does not exist anywhere else in the country, making this document probably the first master plan of its kind for an entire state in India.
According to the Chief Minister, this master plan gives top priority to agriculture and farmers, while ensuring that every other sector is given its due importance. The developmental areas within this comprehensive plan are categorized into "CURE," "PURE," and "RARE" sectors to streamline growth.
In addition to outlining future goals, Reddy presented a report card of the Congress government's performance over the last 30 months. He concluded his address by calling upon the people of Telangana to offer their continued support to help realize these developmental plans.
