Revanth Reddy Reviews Khelo India Games Preparations in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy instructed senior officials during a review meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday to ensure that top-quality facilities are set up for the Khelo India Games, which the city will host this December.

During the review meeting, senior officials briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing preparations for the event. Among those present were Special Chief Secretary to the State Government Jayesh Ranjan, SATGVC & MD Soni Bala Devi, Telangana Sports Minister V. Srihari, and SATG chairman Shivasena Reddy.

Reddy appealed to officials to conduct thorough inspections of all existing stadia where the competition disciplines will take place. He directed them to execute necessary remedial measures to maintain international standards at all venues.

The upcoming Khelo India Games will feature 20 sports disciplines. To ensure smooth execution, the Chief Minister suggested decentralising key operational subjects and urged officials to actively involve Arjuna Awardees, members of the Telangana Sports Hub Board, and the Telangana Olympic Association in organising the Games.
