Revanth Reddy Orders Fast-Tracking of Musi Project Land Acquisition

HYDERABAD — Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials to expedite land acquisition for the Musi Rejuvenation project and formulate a comprehensive land pooling policy during a review meeting held at the MCRHRD Bodhi Pavilion on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister emphasised that the new land pooling policy must focus on lands falling under Full Tank Level (FTL), buffer zones, and assigned land categories. Reviewing the current status of the Musi project with officials, he instructed authorities to ensure all legal complications are avoided during the acquisition process.

In addition to the land acquisition directives, officials were instructed to invite tenders for Phase 2 of the Musi project at the earliest possible time.

Revanth Reddy also directed Municipal Commissioners to focus on securing low-interest loans for the development works and mandated weekly reviews of Transferable Development Rights (TDRs).

The review meeting further covered progress on other regional initiatives, including tenders for the Manchirevula Omkareshwara Swamy Temple and publicity plans for the Kothwalguda Bird Park.
