Revanth Reddy Launches Sitarampur Solar Unit and Unveils Economic Development Model

On Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated a new solar module manufacturing unit in Sitarampur and unveiled the state's "CURE–PURE–RARE" economic and urban development model. The initiative aims to drive pollution-free growth and transform Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2030, eventually reaching $3 trillion by 2047.
During his address at the event, Chief Minister Reddy emphasized the state government's focus on sustainable development despite political criticism. He highlighted the environmental and traffic challenges faced by other major cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, stressing the necessity of pollution-free growth for Hyderabad.
To achieve this sustainable growth, the government has categorized Telangana into CURE, PURE, and RARE zones. Under the CURE model, a dedicated service sector zone spanning nearly 2,100 square kilometers will be developed within the Outer Ring Road limits.
Reddy stated that the state aims to contribute 10 percent to the national economy, with a long-term goal of reaching a $3 trillion economy by 2047. In the near term, the government is targeting a $1 trillion economy by 2030 with public support.
The Chief Minister underscored that infrastructure development is essential to attract industries and generate employment. To support this, the government is focusing on skill development for youth by establishing Advanced Training Centres and a dedicated Skills University.
Addressing local concerns, Reddy directed officials to provide house sites and create livelihood opportunities for families who lost land in the project area. He also assured special funds for the development of the Chevella constituency and noted that a 100-meter-wide road from Budwel to Kodangal is currently under construction.
Reddy called for public cooperation, stating that development should take precedence over politics, and urged citizens to give the government time to deliver on its promises. He also announced plans to return to the area soon to inaugurate a local temple.
