Revanth Reddy Greets Youth on International Youth Day, Outlines Schemes

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended his wishes to young people across the state on the occasion of International Youth Day in Hyderabad, encouraging them to set clear goals and work towards achieving them. Urging the youth to realize their potential, the Chief Minister described them as the strength and future of the state.

In a message shared on social media platform X, Revanth Reddy said that young people are capable of turning the impossible into the possible if provided with adequate resources to nurture their talents and ideas. He emphasized that it is everyone’s collective responsibility to overcome major societal challenges, including poverty, inequality, unemployment, and the rapid advancements taking place in science and technology.

Highlighting the administration's commitment, the Chief Minister said the people’s government would actively support the youth by providing quality education, skill development, sports opportunities, employment, and leadership training. He noted that the government has been taking all necessary steps to help young people secure blue-collar jobs, particularly as artificial intelligence poses growing challenges to traditional white-collar occupations.

To prepare the youth for future demands, the state government has introduced several key initiatives, including ATCs, a Skills University, and a Sports University, which he stated are already producing good results. Furthermore, the government is utilizing TOMCOM to create international employment opportunities for youth in countries such as Singapore, Japan, and Germany. Revanth Reddy added that the government is taking stringent measures to curb drug abuse and prevent young people from falling into addiction.
