Revanth Reddy Drops Minister Konda Surekha from Telangana Cabinet

Telangana Endowments and Forest Minister Konda Surekha was sacked from the State cabinet in Hyderabad on Thursday. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy decided to drop the minister from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect.
Following the decision, a formal recommendation to remove Konda Surekha from the cabinet has already been forwarded to the Governor.
Alongside the cabinet removal, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also made multiple key changes to leadership roles across state boards and commissions. The Chief Minister decided to rescind the appointment of Dr. G. Chinna Reddy as Vice Chairman of the Telangana Planning Board with immediate effect.
In place of Dr. G. Chinna Reddy, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as the new Vice Chairman of the Telangana Planning Board.
The Chief Minister also approved the appointment of Nerella Sharada as the Chairperson of the Telangana State Commission for Women in Hyderabad.
Additionally, former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament G. Sudha Rani was approved for appointment as the Chairperson of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority.
