Ravi Teja's Irumudi Crosses Rs 100 Crore Mark in Five Days

Actor Ravi Teja's latest Telugu film "Irumudi" has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office within five days of its theatrical release, marking a major commercial milestone for the actor.

The film, which marks the maiden collaboration between Ravi Teja and director Shiva Nirvana, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The project had previously unveiled its title and first-look poster on Ravi Teja's birthday in January, drawing inspiration from the sacred Ayyappa tradition.

Following its theatrical release, "Irumudi" secured unanimous positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth. The box-office run has been largely driven by family audiences, who have strongly supported the film across theatrical centres due to its daughter sentiment and the Ayyappa Swamy devotional elements.

The film has also maintained a strong hold on weekdays, sustaining momentum beyond the initial opening weekend rush with steady ticket sales on regular working days.

In theatres, "Irumudi" continues to hold a clear advantage among family crowds, particularly alongside the release of "Toxic", which carries an 'A' certificate targeted at mature audiences.

If current box-office momentum continues, the film is projected to reach the Rs 150 crore mark by the conclusion of its second weekend. A sustained performance across B and C centres could also bring the Rs 200 crore milestone into reach over its ongoing theatrical run.
