Ranga Reddy Collector Office Employee Dies By Suicide In Turkayamjal

A 39-year-old outsourcing data entry operator working at the Ranga Reddy District Collector’s office died by suicide at his residence in Turkayamjal, Adibatla, on Monday night. Following the incident, the local police registered a case of abetment of suicide against a loan inspector accused of harassing him.

The deceased, V Sridhar Babu, was employed as an outsourcing data entry operator at the Ranga Reddy District Collector’s office, which is located in Kongara Kalan village.

According to police reports, Sridhar Babu left his office at around 4:00 PM on Monday to attend to some work and subsequently returned to his home.

Later that evening, a person identified as Srinivas Naidu, who works as a loan inspector, contacted Sridhar Babu over the phone. An official from the Adibatla police station stated that just a few minutes after disconnecting the call, Sridhar Babu went inside a room and hanged himself.

The victim's family members alleged that Sridhar Babu took his own life due to harassment by Srinivas Naidu.

Following a complaint lodged by a relative of Sridhar Babu, the Adibatla police registered a case of abetment of suicide against Srinivas Naidu. Local authorities confirmed that they are currently investigating the matter.
