Ram Charan, Shanvi Reddy Win Telangana Sub-Junior Badminton Titles in Serilingampally

Ram Charan Teja Akula and Shanvi Reddy Nimma secured the boys’ and girls’ singles titles at the 12th Telangana State Sub-Junior (Under-13) Badminton Championship, held at A Zone Elite Badminton Academy in Serilingampally, Hyderabad, on Sunday.

In the boys’ singles final, Ram Charan Teja Akula claimed the championship after his opponent, Deepak Naidu, sustained an injury during the match and was forced to retire. Ram Charan was leading 4-3 when Naidu withdrew from the contest.

In the girls’ singles final, Shanvi Reddy Nimma delivered a convincing performance against Saina Sharma to capture the title. Shanvi won the match in straight sets with a scoreline of 15-7, 15-11.

The victories concluded the singles competitions for the 12th edition of the state-level sub-junior championship in Serilingampally.
