Rajendranagar Police Revive Infant With CPR After Shamshabad-Aramghar Road Accident

On Friday night, police officers saved the life of a one-year-old infant who had stopped breathing following a road accident on the Shamshabad-Aramghar route in Rajendranagar.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rajendranagar) S. Srinivas and his team administered timely Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid at the scene, successfully reviving the child before shifting the injured to the hospital.

The incident occurred when a car travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. The severe impact of the collision left several occupants of the vehicle injured. Among the victims, the one-year-old infant became unconscious and stopped breathing.

At the time, DCP S. Srinivas was conducting routine patrols in the Rajendranagar jurisdiction. The DCP and his escort personnel, who were nearby when the crash occurred, rushed to the accident site.

Upon noticing the critical condition of the infant, the police team swiftly initiated Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) under the guidance of the DCP. Their persistent efforts proved successful as the child regained consciousness, bringing immense relief to the distraught parents.

Following the successful revival of the infant, the police personnel ensured that all the injured victims were safely shifted to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
