Rainfall Activity to Increase in North and East Telangana From August 22

Rainfall activity across Telangana is expected to increase from August 22 following a brief break in the monsoon, with North and East Telangana likely to receive increased precipitation due to the influence of a low-pressure area.

Moderate rains are forecast to continue across the northern and eastern regions of the state through August 27 and August 28.

Isolated light to moderate rainfall is expected from late afternoon through the night across multiple districts, including Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Medak, Siddipet, Asifabad, Mancherial, and Bhupalapally.

Despite the revival of rainfall in select areas, hot and humid conditions are expected to persist across the state. Hyderabad and several other parts of Telangana are likely to remain dry during this period.
