Prohibitory Orders Issued Near NEET Exam Centres in Future City

Future City Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi has issued prohibitory orders across all NEET-PG 2026 examination centres within the commissionerate limits in Hyderabad. The measure has been implemented to maintain law and order during the national entrance test scheduled for August 30.

The prohibitory order was promulgated under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. The restrictions will remain in effect from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on the day of the examination.

Under the directive, the assembly of persons within a 200-metre radius of all designated examination centres is strictly prohibited. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is conducting the NEET-PG examination.

Official security personnel, including police officers, military personnel, and home guards on official duty, are exempted from the restrictions.

The commissionerate has appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to ensure a peaceful environment around test venues. Officials warned that any violations of the prohibitory order will lead to legal action under applicable provisions of the law.
