Private school owner Rajender Reddy dies by suicide in Bandlaguda Jagir

A private school owner, Rajender Reddy, died by suicide at his residence in the Lakewood Villas community of Bandlaguda Jagir, Rajendranagar, following severe financial distress. The incident, which occurred over the weekend, was reportedly triggered by heavy financial losses that Reddy incurred through various business ventures.
Reddy, who was originally a native of the Mahabubnagar district, lived in Bandlaguda Jagir with his wife and two children. He owned and operated a private school located in Mahabubnagar. According to Inspector Muthu Yadav, Reddy had recently diversified his investments into other business ventures, which unfortunately resulted in severe financial losses.
At the time of the incident, Reddy was alone at his home in Lakewood Villas. His wife and children had traveled to stay with relatives to spend the summer holidays, leaving him by himself.
On Saturday, Reddy sent a text message to his wife's mobile phone. The message read: “Sorry, I am leaving. Please forgive me.”
Upon reading the text, his wife immediately tried to call him back. When Reddy failed to answer any of her repeated phone calls, she grew deeply concerned for his safety. She then contacted their neighbours in the Lakewood Villas residential area and requested them to check on him.
The neighbours quickly went to the house and, receiving no response, broke open the door to gain entry. Inside, they found Reddy lying in an unconscious state. He had allegedly consumed an unknown poisonous substance.
The neighbours immediately shifted him to a nearby private hospital for medical attention. Reddy was admitted and placed under treatment, but he ultimately succumbed on Sunday night.
The local police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
