President Droupadi Murmu Confers AVSM on Hyderabad MCEME Commandant Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney

President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) on Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, the Commandant of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) in Hyderabad, on June 29, 2026. The prestigious honor was presented during the Defence Investiture Ceremony – Phase II, which took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Lt Gen Varshney, who also holds the designation of Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, received the medal in recognition of his distinguished career.
