Ponnam Prabhakar Launches ₹13-Crore Madipalli-Elkathurthi Road Project in Husnabad

On Monday, Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar officially launched the construction work for a major road project in the Husnabad Assembly constituency of Hanamkonda by laying its foundation stone. The project, known as the Madipalli-Elkathurthi Junction BT Road (stretch-1), is designed to address long-pending transportation issues and significantly improve regional connectivity for local commuters.

The Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) is executing the road project, which has been granted an allocation of ₹13 crore. Officials stated that the initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen the basic infrastructure of the region.

Several officials and leaders attended the foundation stone ceremony. Alongside Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, the event was attended by Kakatiya Urban Development Authority Chairman and Hanamkonda District Congress Committee (DCC) President Engala Venkat Ram Reddy. Hanamkonda District Collector Chahat Bajpai was also present at the site to mark the commencement of the work.

Following the conclusion of the road-laying ceremony, the focus shifted to organizational matters. Minister Prabhakar and DCC President Engala Venkat Ram Reddy distributed official appointment letters to the newly inducted members of the Hanamkonda DCC.

Speaking to the gathered members, the leaders urged the new inductees to work actively towards resolving public grievances. They highlighted that strengthening party representation at the grassroots level is essential for addressing local issues.

Additionally, the representatives were instructed to oversee the effective implementation of welfare schemes and development initiatives at the village level, ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the intended benefits.
