On 19 June 2026, the Jana Sena Party officially inaugurated its new Telangana state office in Manikonda, Hyderabad. Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan led the inauguration ceremony, marking a significant step in the party's plans to accelerate its political presence and activities across the state.
Speaking to party leaders and cadres after the inauguration, Kalyan announced that the party is set to launch its 'Janavani' initiative in Telangana to directly address citizens' issues. He declared that addressing the problems of the people must remain the primary agenda of the party's regional unit.
Kalyan called upon the party cadres to focus on local issues and work toward fulfilling the aspirations and hopes of the people of Telangana. He emphasized that national integrity and unity must remain the party's first priority as they expand their political journey.
Reflecting on his personal connection to the region, the actor-politician stated that the soil, struggles, and sacrifices of Telangana have inspired him. He described the state as a land of struggles and a blessed land, noting that the Jana Sena movement originally began from this very region. He also praised the youth-led, caste-free struggles for rights in Telangana as immensely valuable.
During the meeting, Kalyan provided clear directions to the cadres on how the party’s journey in Telangana should progress. He urged them to take the party’s principles and ideology directly to the public, and requested senior leaders to guide newcomers in understanding the party's core values.
As part of the 'Janavani' programme, Kalyan instructed party members to set up a strong platform to fully hear people's issues in all regions. He stressed the importance of respecting citizens who come forward to share their problems, listening carefully, and finding viable solutions.
The party plans to bring the collected grievances to the attention of local officials and public representatives. Kalyan stated that if the issues still remain unresolved, the party will plan and launch public movements to address them.
Highlighting the historical significance of the region, Kalyan compared Telangana to the heart of India. He recalled the five-day Police Action in Hyderabad under the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, urging party leaders to fight dedicatedly for the region and its people. He concluded by noting that the Jana Sena movement has also commenced in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
