Pawan Kalyan Fan Ch Niranjan Passes Away In Hanumakonda After Battling DMD

A 17-year-old boy named Ch Niranjan passed away in Hanumakonda on Wednesday morning after a battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, less than three weeks after fulfilling his final wish of meeting his idol, actor and politician Konidela Pawan Kalyan.

Niranjan had been battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a severe muscle-wating disease. Realising the severity of his condition, the teenager shared his final wish with his parents, Ramgopal and Manasa, explaining that he deeply desired to see his hero, Pawan Kalyan, in person.

When the information about the boy's wish reached the office of the Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan responded immediately. He travelled to Hanumakonda city to meet Niranjan at his home on June 17.

During his visit, Pawan Kalyan brought the teenager sacred prasadam from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). To support the struggling family, Pawan Kalyan assured them that he would personally bear all of Niranjan's ongoing medical expenses. He also offered direct financial support to the parents and made arrangements to set up a local canteen to help the family secure a livelihood.

However, just 20 days after the memorable meeting, the teenager passed away, leaving his parents, Ramgopal and Manasa, in an inconsolable state.

Following the news of the death, Pawan Kalyan took to social media to express his deep sorrow and extend his condolences to the grieving family. In a post on X, he shared how deeply shaken he was by the news of Niranjan's passing.

Pawan Kalyan wrote that the moments from his visit to Niranjan's home in Hanumakonda remained vividly alive in his mind. He recalled how the young boy had waited for him despite battling a severe illness, and remembered the tiny smile that bloomed on Niranjan's face the moment they met.
