Paropakar 2026 Art Show in Jubilee Hills to Fund Education for Children

A two-day charity art exhibition titled 'Paropakar 2026: Art for Education' will be hosted from August 15 to August 16 at the Spirit Connect gallery space located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The upcoming event brings together art collectors, artists, and philanthropists to raise funds for the education of underprivileged children.

Curated by Sushma Thota in association with Art Connect, the initiative transforms the Jubilee Hills gallery into an active meeting point for art, philanthropy, and educational development. The exhibition features a curated range of artistic mediums, including artist-approved prints, serigraphs, etchings, ceramics, and select sculptures.

The featured works comprise creations by prominent and iconic names in Indian art, including MF Husain, SH Raza, Akbar Padamsee, Krishen Khanna, Himmat Shah, Thota Vaikuntam, and Seema Kohli. Every artwork brought to the gallery for the exhibition is available for acquisition by attendees.

All sales from the event will directly benefit charitable educational programs. According to the organizers, 100 percent of the proceeds raised from artwork acquisitions will go toward supporting the education of underprivileged children through Nachiketa Tapovan.

Speaking about the purpose behind the event, curator Sushma Thota noted, "When you take home a work from Paropakar, you are sending a child to school."

The financial proceeds collected during Paropakar 2026 will go beyond supporting the holistic education of students who are already enrolled with Nachiketa Tapovan. The fundraising drive is specifically designated to contribute to the construction of a brand-new facility at the organization's Kodgal campus.

This new facility at the Kodgal campus is planned to feature vocational training centres, dedicated science laboratories, and a complete library to improve educational access for rural students.

The expansion is anticipated to directly benefit the 300 children who are currently studying under Nachiketa Tapovan's care. Furthermore, organizers state that the new infrastructure at the Kodgal campus is projected to create broader educational and skill training opportunities for an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 children from surrounding villages in the years ahead.
