Over 500 Voter ID Cards Found Abandoned Near Forest Park on Jalpally Road

The discovery of more than 500 voter ID cards abandoned in a bag on Jalpally Road near Forest Park in Hyderabad on Monday has led to a police investigation.
Local residents first spotted the bag on the road. Upon closer inspection, they found that it was filled with voter identification cards. The locals immediately contacted the Pahadishareef police, who arrived at the location near Forest Park to seize the bag and initiate their inquiries.
According to the police, the subsequent investigation revealed that a postman had misplaced the bag containing the voter cards. Despite losing the official documents, the postman reportedly did not inform any authorities about the incident, nor did he lodge a complaint with the police regarding the lost bag.
The Pahadishareef police confirmed that the vast majority of the recovered cards belonged to voters residing in the Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency.
The police are continuing their investigation into the matter to establish the full sequence of events that led to the postman misplacing the bag and failing to report the loss, which ultimately resulted in over 500 voter ID cards being left abandoned on Jalpally Road.
