Orange-Laden Lorry Overturns on NH44 in Indalwai Mandal, Disrupting Traffic

A lorry carrying a consignment of oranges overturned on National Highway 44 on the outskirts of Chandrayanpally in Indalwai mandal of Nizamabad district on Sunday, leading to heavy traffic disruption along the corridor.

The commercial vehicle was travelling from Hyderabad towards Nagpur when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn on the highway.

According to Indalwai Sub-Inspector of Police B. Sumalatha, the driver escaped the accident unhurt. Following the incident, the local police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the exact cause of the crash.

The overturned vehicle blocked vehicular movement on the highway for some time. Staff from the Indalwai toll plaza, along with police personnel, were deployed to the spot to manage the situation. They carried out clearance operations and successfully cleared the highway to restore normal traffic flow.
