One Football Championship Hyderabad 2026 Junior Edition Begins in Gandipet

The One Football Championship Hyderabad 2026 – Junior Edition officially kicked off at the Sportek Arena in Gandipet, Hyderabad, on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The launch of the five-week grassroots football league took place in the presence of former India football captain Shabbir Ali.
The tournament is organized by D5 Sports Management in association with Petra Sports Academy. The initiative is also officially recognized by the Telangana Football Association. Designed as a grassroots youth football initiative, the championship aims to establish a structured competitive football platform for young players across various cities, with Hyderabad marking the newest chapter in this journey.
A total of 20 teams representing nine different academies are competing in the tournament. The matches will be played over a five-week period across three distinct age categories, which include the Under-10, Under-12, and Under-14 divisions.
The management team behind the league includes founder Adiba Mohsin and event head Sam Roshan. Pradyumna Chavan is overseeing the tournament's logistics as the Operations Head, while Rakshitha B Reuben is leading the coordination efforts for the multi-week league.
