One Dead, Several Injured in Boiler Accident at Sai Life Sciences in Genome Valley

One person died and several others suffered injuries following a boiler-related accident at the Sai Life Sciences facility located in the Genome Valley area of Hyderabad. The injured workers were shifted to medical facilities and are currently undergoing treatment.

Director of Factories Mohan Rao confirmed the fatality, stating that the deceased victim hailed from Maharashtra. Rao added that the condition of the injured workers is being monitored closely as they receive required medical care.

Following the incident, factory regulatory authorities launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the mishap, focusing on safety measures and regulatory compliance at the site.

Mohan Rao stated that officials have inspected the premises and issued a notice to the company seeking detailed explanations regarding the cause of the accident alongside existing safety protocols.

Meanwhile, the Genome Valley police stated that no police case had been registered in connection with the incident.
