NTA to Release NEET UG Re-Exam Results Soon as Answer Sheet Evaluation Begins

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started evaluating the answer sheets for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate re-examination, with results expected to be declared soon. Candidates from Telangana and other states across India who sat for the re-test will be able to access their scorecards at the earliest possible date.
The provisional answer key for the re-NEET was released on June 25, and the objection window closed on June 28. According to a report by Asian News International (ANI), citing official sources, the NTA is working to release the scorecards quickly. Along with the individual results, the exam body will also announce the top 100 scorers and the state-wise toppers.
The upcoming results follow a trend of highly competitive performances across the country. In the previous year's NEET UG, the results were declared on June 14 for the examination held on May 4.
Last year, Kakarla Jeevan Sai Kumar emerged as the topper from Telangana, securing an All India Rank of 18 with a percentile of 99.9991853. Neighboring Andhra Pradesh saw Darbha Karthik Ram Kireeti secure Rank 19 with a 99.9991400 percentile.
Other prominent state toppers from the previous year included Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan, who secured Rank 1 with a 99.9999547 percentile, and Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh, who achieved Rank 2 with a 99.9999095 percentile. Krishang Joshi from Maharashtra secured Rank 3, while Mrinal Kishore Jha from Delhi achieved Rank 4.
In other regions, Jenil Vinodbhai Bhayani from Gujarat secured Rank 6, Keshav Mittal from Punjab took Rank 7, and Arsh Gandhi from Haryana achieved Rank 11. Rachit Sinha Chaudhuri from West Bengal secured Rank 16, and Nikhil Sonnad from Karnataka achieved Rank 17.
Additional top scorers from last year included Tamil Nadu's Soorya Narayanan S at Rank 27, Uttar Pradesh's Muktesh Tanmay at Rank 36, Odisha's Snehasis Das at Rank 60, Uttarakhand's Saransh Mittal at Rank 69, Kerala's Deepniya D B at Rank 109, Bihar's Muskan Anand at Rank 112, and Jharkhand's Himanshu Kumar at Rank 134.
Further down the state-topper list, Manipur's Erwin Khundrakpam secured Rank 3706, Jammu and Kashmir's Aftab Iqbal achieved Rank 423, Himachal Pradesh's Aarav Thakur secured Rank 500, and Assam's Md Musa Kalim secured Rank 509.
Official data from the previous year also highlighted significant candidate participation, with 1,19,865 of the 1,76,181 candidates from Rajasthan qualifying the exam. In Gujarat, 50,040 out of 80,151 appearing candidates cleared the exam.
