Nitin Nabin Predicts BJP Victory in 2028 Telangana Polls at Hyderabad Meeting

BJP national president Nitin Nabin addressed booth-level party presidents at the Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad on Sunday, accusing both the Congress and BRS of corruption and appeasement while predicting a BJP victory in the 2028 Telangana Assembly elections.

Speaking to party workers from three corporation limits in Greater Hyderabad, Nabin claimed that the political results witnessed in West Bengal would be repeated in Telangana. He accused the ruling Congress party of cheating the state's residents by failing to fulfill its promised "Six Guarantees" and neglecting its commitment to fill two lakh jobs in its first year.

Nabin also targeted the previous BRS government, alleging it had converted the Kaleshwaram irrigation project into an "ATM" to loot public funds. He stated that the Congress has continued this pattern of corruption since taking power instead of prosecuting those responsible.

To counter these parties, Nabin highlighted several central government infrastructure projects funded by the Modi administration. These include the Rs 400 crore Civil Aviation Research Centre in Hyderabad, a Rs 400 crore flyover at Amberpet, and the Rs 700 crore renovation of the Secunderabad Railway station. He also mentioned funding for MMTS Phase-II, a 100 km railway line, the AIIMS Hospital at Bibinagar, and the manufacturing of Vande Bharat trains at the Kazipet coach factory.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also spoke at the event, calling on party workers to ensure that bogus voters are not enrolled on the voter lists. He accused the AIMIM of dictating police officer recruitment and claimed that Hindu populations in several old city bastis had relocated due to pressure from AIMIM leaders.

BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging he had turned the state into a hub for real estate while ignoring basic municipal infrastructure, leaving city roads flooded after rains.

Earlier in the day, Nabin virtually inaugurated the newly constructed Rangareddy district party office in Shamshabad along with eight other district offices, urging workers to use these premises as active centers for public service and door-to-door outreach.
