Nidhish Shyamal and Yashvi Jain Win Telangana Under-17 Chess Titles

Nidhish Shyamal and Yashvi Jain emerged as champions in the boys' and girls' divisions respectively at the Telangana State Under-17 Chess Championship held at Vikas Concept School in Bachupally, Hyderabad.

In the boys' competition, Nidhish Shyamal clinched the top position to claim the state title. Pavan Karthikeya Varma finished behind him to take the runner-up spot in the final rankings.

The girls' category saw Yashvi Jain secure the championship title after finishing first. Sreesha Kandi took second place to finish as the runner-up in the tournament.

The championship concluded with the final rankings confirmed for the top contenders in both sections at the Bachupally venue.
