New Yadagirigutta Temple Trust Board to Take Oath on Sunday as Darshan Timings Change

The new Trust Board of the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple will officially take its oath of office this Sunday at 11:37 AM. The ceremony is set to take place at the Bangaru Vakili, located within the main temple of the hill shrine in Yadadri. Telangana Minister Konda Surekha is expected to attend the event alongside temple officials and devotees.

In anticipation of the ceremony, temple authorities have announced significant temporary changes to the regular darshan timings and ritual schedules. These measures are being implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the oath-taking program. According to officials, general darshan for all visiting devotees will be suspended for a two-hour window, specifically from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday.

In addition to the suspension of general darshan, transport to the temple will also be temporarily affected. Authorities have confirmed that vehicular movement leading up to the hill shrine will be restricted. This traffic restriction will be in place for four hours, starting from 9:00 AM and lasting until 1:00 PM. Devotees are advised to plan their journeys to the temple keeping these vehicle restrictions in mind.

The temple’s daily ritual calendar has also been adjusted for the day of the ceremony. The Sudarshana Narasimha Homam, which is usually part of the daily prayers, has been scheduled to be conducted between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Following this, a short window for break darshan will be provided to devotees from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Furthermore, the Nitya Kalyana Mahotsavam is scheduled to take place from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Temple officials have urged the public and devotees to take note of these revised timings and plan their visits to the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the event.
